Green Amaranth – Pointed Leaf

Amaranth green are fast growing plants, beating the slow growing Choy Sum by covering them with its leaves. Compared to the other vegetables, I really prefer green amaranths. Therefore, I tried to plant some pointed leaf ones, which are different from round leaf green amaranth.

These are the seedlings that are newly planted.

While these are the old ones, which grew into a forest, covering other plants.

These are the harvested green amaranths. Unfortunately, this batch can only become a meal for three, not enough even to sustain my family through a day. Despite the lack of experience in gardening, I managed to culture it to this size, which is about 30 cm tall.
